I am thankful for my children, but I wish they would keep their rooms tidy.
I am thankful for my job, but I wish it would be better paid.
I am thankful for my health, but I wish my knee was not so sore.
Too often we try to count our blessings, but in the end add a little statement that finds a way to reduce the shine.
If you want to try to be thankful (and I highly recommend it), just be thankful.
I am thankful for my children, my job and my health.
I am thankful for my marriage, my house, my faith.
Let it work.
